Tuck Privacy Policy

Tuck is a Chrome extension that helps you organize, enable, and disable your installed browser extensions from a single toolbar popup. Your privacy is simple to explain because Tuck collects nothing.

What Tuck accesses

To do its job, Tuck reads the list of extensions installed in your browser, including their names, icons, and whether they are enabled. This is provided by Chrome's management API and is used only to display your extensions in the popup and to turn them on or off when you ask.

What Tuck stores

Tuck saves two things using Chrome's own storage: your view preference (list, grid, or category) and the categories you create to group your extensions. This data is stored in chrome.storage. If you are signed in to Chrome, your categories sync across your own devices through your Google account. The developer of Tuck never receives this data.

What Tuck does not do

• Tuck makes no network requests. Nothing leaves your browser.
• Tuck does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data.
• Tuck contains no analytics, no tracking, and no third party code.
• Tuck does not read your browsing history, your web pages, or any personal information.

Permissions

• management: required to list your installed extensions and to enable or disable them. This is the core function of Tuck.
• storage: required to save your view preference and your categories so they persist and sync through your own Chrome account.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
